Anthony Joshua prepares to battle Jake Paul in an eight-bout contest which will be broadcast in real-time on the streaming platform.
British boxer Anthony Joshua stated he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "break" his opponent as the combatants came face-to-face to publicize next month's boxing match.
Ex twice world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, on paper, a mammoth disparity - at Miami Kaseya Center on 19 December.
Fighter's Mentality
"I will break his face and hurt his body. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," Joshua, 35 years old, said.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I will really want to injure him. That's my intention."
Civil Exchange
Despite those words, a calm Anthony Joshua and social media star Paul - typically recognized for his showmanship - exchanged pleasantries and kept it respectful with each other.
Paul instead criticized former Joshua's rival Francis Ngannou and labeled him "ridiculous" after Ngannou rejected a match opportunity.
Taking Aim at Fury
Joshua, meanwhile, criticized British rival Fury - and refused a large bet 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a Paul win.
"[Paul] is superior to Tyson Fury - he showed up," the boxer said.
"I acknowledge that."
Serious Fighter
In spite of stating he plans to damage his opponent, Joshua refused to comment unfavorably about his rival's fighting skills.
"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he remarked.
Jake Paul's History
Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mostly boxed mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since becoming pro.
He lost to British fighter Fury in last year.
Commercial Success
Nevertheless, the relative newcomer remains one of the sport's biggest commercial attractions, regularly earning massive financial rewards.
Prediction and Belief
The 28 year old forecast a stoppage in rounds four or five and asserted he would stop the long-awaited match between Joshua and Fury, which is allegedly under discussion for two years from now.
"It's going to be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Paul said.
Physical Disparity
As the two fighters met for the traditional confrontation, with their size difference clearly visible, it emphasized just how improbable this entire matchup is - and how amazing it is that the match is truly happening.
